
Meet David
David Lucier graduated in 1974 with honors from ASU (on the GI Bill) with a degree in Political Science. His career in telecommunication finance culminated in his appointment as the youngest Assistant Treasurer in a large telecommunications company. Post 9-11, he served in Iraq and Afghanistan as a civilian contractor to the Dept. of Defense.
Lucier is president and CEO of the Arizona Veterans & Military Leadership Alliance and was inducted into the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame in 2009. He served in combat as a Green Beret in the Vietnam War and was decorated by two countries for both valor and meritorious service.
Lucier has been a highly successful Veterans advocate at the local, state and federal levels for over a decade. David is active in numerous Veteran and community organizations, including Special Operations Association, American Legion, VFW, DAV and VVA. He is a co-founder – Tempe Veterans Commission, co-founder and board member of the ASU Alumni Association – Veterans Chapter and was appointed to the Tempe Police Commission and Chaired the Tempe Arts & Culture Commission.
He serves on Veterans Advisory Boards for both Senator Mark Kelly and Rep. Greg Stanton.
